The DT 990 has been made for listening without stress. This open headphone features a pleasant sound and brilliant bass. The DT 990 gives a three-dimensional sound, that is, it reproduces all details of the various instruments of an orchestra as a unity. You will experience an unique audio. Low headband pressure and a soft padded headband ensure a high comfort. The soft ear pads can be easily replaced. The single-sided coiled cable can be extended and is fitted with a gold vaporized stereo jack plug (3.5 mm) and adapter gives enough freedom of movement.
Instructions
The transducers are fitted to adjustable yokes which should be positioned to fully enclose the ear. This will provide the optimum ear / speaker position for accurate sound monitoring. The coiled cord can be extended to a maximum of 3 m and is terminated with a high quality gold plated mini-jack and a 1/4" stereo jack adapter. Professional users should note that it is recommended practise that headphones are issued on an individual user basis to preclude any possible health risks.

The DT 990 PRO is an open dynamic headphone. The weight of the diaphragm and moving coil of this headphone is approx. 20% compared to other current models. As a result, the DT 990 PRO offers similar pulse characteristics as electrostatic headphones. The cushion systems and light weight allow the DT 990 PRO to be used in complete comfort for long period.
