The Laird LTM-HG16
represents the state-of-the-art in video and audio hum and modal noise
elimination. Designed around Laird’s proprietary OPTO COUPLED
DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER circuitry, the LTM-HG16 provides a complete
system for multi-channel hum elimination for both video and audio. 8
composite channels of base band video can be processed simultaneously,
as well as 8 balanced audio channels.
The LTM-HG16 is housed in a 2RU enclosure designed to provide
ground/mode isolation from input to output. A specially designed power
supply offers isolation by use of dual secondaries and ground lifting
operations. Designed to work in any professional environment where
ground loop noise can cause serious problems, the LTM-HG16 will guard
against power mode phase shift in buildings where power demand
fluctuations causes grounding noise. Used as a room-to-room coupler,
the LTM-HG16 allows different rooms to operate without the typical
ground difference loop noise, which can shut down a facility.
All operations are completely automatic and require absolutely no
adjustments or calibrations from the user. The LTM-HG16 also features
buffered input/output line receiver audio circuitry and line driver
video and audio outputs to accommodate long cable runs, and operates in
NTSC or PAL.
