At the heart of the Audix powered speakers are powerful proprietary amplifiers producing up to 60 watts per channel. The amplifier powering both monitors is contained within the "A" speaker along with a single, stereo volume control and all electrical inputs and outputs. The entire PowerHouse Series of speakers are video shielded for use near computer monitors. All speakers in the PowerHouse range feature 5.25" woofers and internal power supplies (the PH-25vs has two 5.25" woofers!) except the smaller PH-3s with a 3.5" woofer and external power supply. From the most compact Audix model to the largest, these powered speakers outperform competitive models costing much more. They are priced as pairs.
