The preowned MacBook Pro 17” has a lightweight design and, in fact, is the world’s thinnest notebook for that display size. We often have MacBook Pro 17” models that were built after 2008, which have the unibody chassis cut from a single piece of metal. Those same models have the newer lids that shut with an internal magnet versus a latch enclosure, which is easier and more durable – although the latch enclosure works well also. The keyboard is backlit in low light and the key’s soft-touch mechanism is nearly noiseless. The multi-touch trackpad is glass and allows for the same multi-fingered gestures as an iPhone.

The MacBook Pro 17” has a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel display on edge-to-edge glass, which is cosmetically appealing particularly when watching full-screen activities, such as multi-media programs and movies. Any way you cut it, the preowned or refurbished MacBook Pro 17” is a stunning purchase.
